Product details

This is a jazz waltz that was played infrequently by The World According to James as it requires a piano (or other harmonic instrument). At venues that allowed for this Andrew Robson played the piano, however this was a depature from the usual sound of the group (two horns, bass & drums). The final 8 bars (letter D on the score) can be played each time or only to end the composition.

Published by: Australian Music Centre — 1 set of 4 performance parts (8p. -- A4 (portrait))

Difficulty: Medium — A jazz waltz with a simple melody however, does require ability to improvise through chord changes

Duration: 7 min.

Commission info: Composed for James Greening's quartet 'The World According to James'.

First performance by World According to James — 20 Oct 10. Sound Lounge, Seymour Centre, Sydney University, NSW.

Typeset edition.
