Work Overview
In writing this piece I kept in mind the purpose for which it was written (a piece suitable for performance in competition or examination). The duration is 3 minutes and there are a few technical challenges for pianists at about 7th grade AMEB standard.
As well there are opportunities for dynamic contrast, shaping of phrases and touch articulations. It is light-hearted and joyful in mood.
