Add to cartWork Overview
Spare My Country From This Rage was written as a plea to our great country to not follow the divisive political path that has consumed other countries in recent times, such as the USA and UK. I first performed it in Melbourne in late 2024, with Christopher Skepper on trumpet, as part of our duo, Harrison & Skepper. 'Spare My Country From This Rage' was originally written to have a piano improvisation included in the middle part of the work. As such, the original version had chords written above both the piano and trumpet part. I have submitted a version of the score with chords in the trumpet part, and with the chords removed. (The chords are for reference only). I have chosen to leave the chords in the piano part, again for reference.
