Work Overview
This work is a Live Cinematic Concert. It incorporates new music, film, sound design and ritual theatre. The work centres around the theatrical device of Sonya play live in duet with herself in footage filmed in situ in the Australian bush. The work, explores our estranged relationship with the natural landscape via the "surface" parable of the traditional mystical properties of fern flowers and seeds.
