This short chamber trio was written for the specified instrumentation ("Sticks and Stones") for the Iron Composer Competition in 2010 at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory.
The piece was composed in five hours, rehearsed and premiered in concert on the same day (22 October 2010). This piece won the 2010 Iron Composer Competition.
