This quartet/quintet is an arrangement of one of the songs from the dramatic work Wind Rose. Wind Rose is a 35 minute work for full symphony orchestra and 5 voices. It is set to an edited version of an epic poem by Magda Palmer and alternates between dramatic narration and songs. In the original work, this song is sung by the Wind who sings of her love of her Paper Bird. It is full of lightness and joy.
