This is essentially a very, very slow reworking of the J S Bach chorale Es ist genug nimm herr. It creates a a sound world of almost suspended animation where each each slight change appears like an architectural feature suddenly coming into focus. It can be played by an organist alone or with improvised etheral percussion.
