Event Details
Join us for our 2026 fundraising concert, featuring the fiery Spanish rhythms of Bizet's Prelude and Aragonaise from Carmen, followed by Catherine Likhuta's evocative Australian work Fully Free. We then feature soloist Teresa Yang for Mendelssohn's lyrical and virtuosic Violin Concerto before concluding with the grand Enigma Variations by Elgar
Teresa Yang is an acclaimed violinist and recipient of the NSWDO Instrumental Scholarship who currently studies at the Juilliard School in New York on a full scholarship.
All proceeds support young musical talent through the Sydney Eisteddfod's NSWDO Instrumental Scholarship, and advance vital medical research via the Prader Willi Research Foundation Australia. Your attendance helps provide opportunities for emerging artists and supports critical health initiatives for those living with Prader Willi Syndrome.
Featured non-Australian music: Mendelssohn - Violin Concerto; Bizet - Prelude and Aragonaise from Carmen, Elgar - Enigma Variations
