Jenna Pratt is a Sydney-based composer writing music for film,
television, and games. Combining acoustic and electronic
elements, she creates emotionally driven scores that support
story, character, and atmosphere. Her work is shaped by a love of
cinematic storytelling and a belief that music can bring
audiences closer to the emotional heart of a project.
In 2026, Jenna scored her first feature film, The Shadows of
Trust. The soundtrack was released ahead of the film's premiere
and features a blend of orchestral and contemporary sounds that
reflect the film's psychological and emotional themes. The same
year, she was including in If Magazines Rising Talent list for
Composers.
Her credits span narrative film, documentary, and television. She
has composed music for a range of short films, including
Magnetic, which screened at Sydney Film Festival, and Toyboy,
which received a nomination for Best Original Score at the Made
in the West Festival. Her work has also featured across
Australian broadcasters and platforms including ABC, Seven, Nine,
Foxtel, and SBS.
Jenna previously co-composed the score for the true crime
docu-series Murder Down Under. The episode ""Bodies in the
Barrels"" received an APRA Screen Music Award nomination in 2025,
recognising the contribution of music to the storytelling.
In 2024, Jenna completed the Women in Music Mentorship program
with composer Caitlin Yeo and participated in APRA AMCOS's High
Score SongHubs initiative, where she collaborated with fellow
composers, songwriters, and screen industry professionals.
She is currently scoring projects across film, television, and
interactive media, with a growing focus on long-form storytelling
and international screen productions. Whether working on intimate
character-driven stories or larger-scale screen projects, Jenna
approaches each score with a focus on emotional connection,
collaboration, and serving the story.
